I've just returned home after being part of the Daniel Johnston and Friends tour through Europe. I played drums in the band that included Scout Niblett, Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub), James McNew (Yo La Tengo), Mark Linkous (Sparklehorse), and Jad Fair (Half Japanese). The tour took us through Stockholm, Gothenburg, Oslo, Glasgow, Manchester, London, and Dublin. The picture here was taken outside the BBC Maida Vale studio after our Radio One session.

It's been an amazing experience to play music with these people, and especially Daniel, as his music inspired me so much growing up.

My favourite show of the tour was probably the first night in Stockholm, which was completely surreal and magical. Daniel's music carries so much weight.
