I'm beyond thrilled that two of my paintings are being published in the book Dazzle: Disguise and Disruption in War and Art later this year. My paintings Astarboard (2012) and Ballast (2015) are featured in the book as well as some of my thoughts on dazzle camouflage.

The author, James Taylor, is a former curator of the National Maritime Musuem in Greenwhich and previously published Careless Talk Costs Lives: Fougasse and the Art of Public Information in 2010. Dazzle: Diguise and Disruption in War in Art is without doubt the definitve book on the subject of dazzle camouflage, and some of the insights in the book are incredible. From Norman Wilkinson through to Edward Wadsworth and, more recently, Peter Blake it is a fascinating story and one that has left an indelible influence on modern culture.

Those of you who read my blog will understand my fascination with dazzle, so I'm incredibly flattered that my work is featured in the book. Dazzle: Disguise and Disruption in War and Art is published through Naval Institute Press in the UK and available via Amazon
