After two full weeks of work, I've finally completed my replica of the artwork from Harry Nilsson's The Point! album. Aside from being a great, great album, the cover art is one of my all-time favourites, in a whimsical kind of way. I much prefer the image on the record sleeve over the animated feature-length film version of The Point! narrated by Ringo Starr, which is very much of its time and kind of sickly in its aesthetic.

My version of the tapestry is made to the same proportions as the original needle point by Kathy Torrence that appears on the album cover. I traced the original artwork onto a tapestry weave and then filled it in with coloured wool. Album art by numbers...
